Product Questions
Hi I have an IDS 16/32 Alarm system with 2 x expander boards. Most of my zones is in use I have 4 spare zones. I drive 2 x LCD key pads. I have this 7ah 12v battery currently installed, but this stupid thing does not last me even 30min then the battery is dead when there is load shedding. Can Ininstall this 18aH battery on my system, I understand that it won?t fit in to the box but I will extend the lead wires of the system and place the battery in front of the box on the wooden shelve. What is the specs of my transformer my system should have, I suspect also my transformer. This is the second battery in a year I have to replace!

Product Questions

Hi, I have a texecom premier 412, 16 zone alarm with 3 takex beams. My current battery only lasts a few hours, and I would like to install a larger battery. As my system goes off at 3 am a few times a month. Would this battery work? Is it possible to run then together, or should I only use one at a time? Should I also get a power pack for this?

Best method for load shedding issues is to use one battery for the panel and keypad only. (7 or 18Ahr)

See the 17/18Ahr battery charger to power larger systems; -
Wire all other passives and beams to this power supply instead of the panel powering them
