Using zones 33-64 for a RF5132-433?

Post by mydoghasworms »

I have a PC1864 control panel, with two expander modules to support up to 24 hardwired zones, of which 20 are currently used.

I also have a RF5132-433 and have bought some wireless door contacts and PIRs with the intent of replacing the hardwired modules, as the house is being painted and I am getting rid of all the wires running through the house.

However, it seems that when I am programming the wireless modules into section 804, I can select only zones 1-32. I was hoping to make use of zones 33 to 64 for the wireless modules, but when entering anything bigger than 32, it just beeps and doesn't let me enter it.

Is there a way to register the RF5132-433 so that I can use the higher zones? I was hoping maybe there is just a jumper switch or something that allows this, but I can't see anything in the manual.

Or is it possible to program it such that zone 01 in section 804 is actually mapped to zone 33 in the 1864, and so on?

"with two expander modules to support up to 24 hardwired zones, of which 20 are currently used"

Adding the serial numbers in section 804 is correct, start with zone serial input on 21
Once all the new sensors serials were added enable your zones in panel programming sections 204 / 205 for enabling zones 21- 24 and 25-32
Program section 002 - starting at zone 16 to 32, remember to write down zones programming that was already programmed previously cause you must start with zone 16.
Go to location 121 (starting zone 21) to 132 and only enable option 8 for zone to be a wireless zone
