The ProxLock is a low cost stand-alone programmable access control system based on the GSC proximity tags.
The read-head, electronics, memory and relay circuitry are contained in a robust housing allowing for simple and quick installation. The minimum connection just requires 12V and a door strike.
The unit can store the codes of up to 2000 unique tags.
An optional transaction buffer module and WIN Software is available.
A Tag Simulator allows adding and deleting of tag numbers when the tag is lost.
For harsh environments a range of weatherproofed read heads (IP66) is available.

The first tag presented to the reader will be stored in its memory and designated as the master tag. The master tag allows for programming of the following functions :
Every tag that is presented to the reader in the ADD state will be stored in the system memory and allowed access.
When in the DELETE state all tags presented to the reader will be deleted from memory.
The master tag allows erasure of all programmed data to reset the reader to the factory setting.
Time Adjust (Strike time):
This function sets the time the relay operates when a valid tag is read or the exit push button is pressed. The relay can be set to operate for any length of time between 0.25 to 12 seconds.
Relay Operation (Pulse Mode and Toggle Mode)
The relay on board can operate in Pulse Mode (suitable for access control applications) or Toggle Mode (suitable for arming/disarming alarms, switching lights, machines, etc.).
Every time a valid proximity tag is read in Pulse Mode, the Green lamp will go on and the relay will operate, for the pre-set Relay Pulse time.
Every time a valid proximity tag is read in Toggle Mode, the relay changes state. The RED lamp will be on when the relay is OFF and the GREEN lamp will be on when the relay is ON.
